The Central California Writers Conference offers a variety of opportunities for volunteers. Volunteers at the conference can help at registration, act as room monitors for workshops, or help manage the agent one-on-one sessions.

Conference volunteers do not register for the conference until mid to late February. We understand that limits choices for pitching, but people pay to attend the conference to meet agents. Unfortunately, we can't pay our bills with volunteer hours. If we allowed agents to be fully booked by people not paying to attend, the result would probably be volunteers not being allowed to sign up for pitches until the conference began. So that's the tradeoff. We certainly understand if you can't volunteer under these circumstances.
